Our facility includes eight TRACKMAN 4 bays, providing unmatched tools for swing analysis and development.
Outside, golfers enjoy expansive practice areas featuring large turf tees, numerous target greens, four putting greens, multiple practice bunkers, and a state-of-the-art short game area, ideal for private instruction or focused practice.
With these resources, Fox Hills ranks among the finest practice facilities in Southeast Michigan, offering an exceptional environment to learn, improve, and play better golf.

Jordan Brown

Jordan’s golf career began with humble roots in golf operations, starting as the Assistant Director of Golf at Fox Hills, a role he held for nearly 10 years. While working behind the scenes, his passion for the game and growing interest in teaching and coaching naturally guided him toward instruction and player development.
Over the years, and with the guidance of his mentor Will Ellender, Jordan had the opportunity to work closely with some of the brightest minds in golf, including renowned tour instructors Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett. Learning directly from these elite coaches helped shape his teaching philosophy and elevate his approach to an elite level.
Known for his patient and highly personalized teaching style, Jordan has earned a stellar reputation among his students. He excels at breaking down complex techniques into simple, easy-to-understand concepts. Whether introducing beginners to the fundamentals or helping experienced players fine-tune their game, Jordan’s expertise, clarity, and commitment shine through in every lesson.
Jordan’s commitment to helping golfers of all skill levels achieve their best is evident in every interaction. Today, as a full-time teaching instructor, he continues to share his passion for the game and the invaluable lessons he’s learned from the best in the business—dedicated to helping golfers reach their full potential on the course.
Will Ellender

Golfers don't need more swing thoughts - they need clarity.
Will Ellender is a PGA Professional with over 30 years of experience coaching golfers who are serious about improving their game.
His instruction focuses on ball flight, fundamentals, and clear cause-and-effect, helping players understand what's actually happening in their swing and how to change it.
A PGA Member since 1993, Will trained early in his career at La Costa Resort & Spa under Carl Welty. He later continued his professional development by teaching alongside many of the game's most respected instructors, including Phil Ritson, Johnny Meyers, Jim Suttie, Fred Shoemaker, Andy Plummer, and Mike Bennett. These experiences helped shape an approach that blends proven systems with individualized coaching rather than rigid positions.
An Authorized Stack & Tilt Instructor, a certified Tathata Golf Movement Specialist, and Level 3 TPI Professional, Will emphasizes movement quality, adaptability, and long-term development. Technology such as TrackMan supports the process, but improvement is always tied to real-world performance on the course.
A former collegiate golfer, Will currently serves as Head Coach of the Salem High School varsity boys golf team and teaches at Fox Hills in Plymouth, Michigan. Though recognized by Golf Magazine and Golf Digest as a top regional instructor, his priority is the progress and confidence of the golfers he coaches.
Victor Whipp

A native of East Lansing and graduate of Western Michigan University, Vic brings more than 25 years of PGA membership and leadership experience to his coaching. He has served as Head Golf Professional at three premier private clubs throughout the Midwest, most recently at Walnut Hills Country Club in East Lansing.
An award-winning PGA Professional, Vic has coached champion golfers at every level — from beginners discovering the game to accomplished amateurs and professionals competing at the highest stages. His passion for player development is equally matched by his success as the Head Coach at East Lansing High School, where his teams have captured numerous conference championships, regional titles, and state finalist honors.
Throughout his career, Vic has studied and collaborated with some of the game’s most respected instructors, including Fred Shoemaker, Andy Plummer, David Leadbetter, Mac O’Grady, and Mike Bennett. This breadth of experience allows him to blend multiple coaching philosophies into a personalized approach for every student.
Vic believes great coaching extends beyond mechanics. While fundamentals matter, his instruction focuses on the complete golfer — strategy, short game, course management, practice habits, and mental approach — helping players build skills that truly transfer to the course.
